Omg I hate big tests like that. When I took the ACTs my brain was numb for a couple of days afterward. I hope you did well :3

Eh D: I took the PSAT and failed badly, just because I slacked off and didn't think it was important. I didn't have to take the SAT though, but I took the ACT. Again, slacked off. :/

Still got a decent score, which I can't remember, and I was able to get into college just fine (I took their math/english/etc/ placement tests and did awesome on them).

but my parents want me to get in a UC school so i need a really high score ;_;

Mine is a very good university but not on the top like Harvard, Yale, etc. <_< it didn't require awesome scores though, so whew.

Ugh, taking a test that big ONCE is more than enough! I'm just glad I got a really high score on my ACTs so I only had to take them once : P. Of course, I got yelled at for it because my school grades were mediocre at best xD Well, I have my fingers (and multuple other appendages) crossed that you get a high enough score to get into the school you want and don't have to re-take it :3

Don't worry, I think everyone does bad on their first try.
Trust me, I got a 1100 on my first try. Second time I took it, I got a 1890. (So take it again.)
Which UCs are you thinking of? I applied to all of the UCs and waiting for my acceptance letters now.
I did soooo bad on the ACT. I converted my ACT score to SAT, and I got over 900 points below on my ACT. I would take both and see which one you like better; the thing that ticked me off was the science section of the ACT. It's not hard if you know how to read graphs. (Apparently I don't know how to read them.)
I have a 40% chance of getting into UC Berkeley with my grades, but I did over 500 community service hours and I have a few extra curricular activities that I jotted down. Remember it's not all about grades and your test scores. They look for a well rounded person, so for an advice, I would do some community service to boost up your applications.
Oh, don't forget to take the Subject tests too. (:

UC San Diego is beautiful. UC Santa Barbara has a nice campus too, since it's right by the beach. xD
